one of those nights where my brain just won't turn off. and i keep thinking 'if i just go to bed now, i can get five hours of sleep' and then 'if i go to bed now, i can get four hours of sleep'... anyone else do that, or am i strange?

[/div] you're not strange... i've been doing the same thing for hours now. 'cept in my case it's cause i've got little ballerinas dancing around and kicking my brain keeping me awake. plus the coffee. damn coffee... so yeah no, you're normal. (:

...i have the strangest mental picture of an empty head with ballerinas dancing, while sipping from starbucks cups. i think this is literally the strangest thing i've ever pictures... now, i really think i might be the strange one.

[/div] but think about it. is it your brain that's a constant dance studio? i think if there's a strange one between us, it would be me. and nice to meet you, jax. i'm makayla.

well, i'm assuming you're a dancer, so it's really not that strange. when i was teenager, the only thing on my mind was sex. and then when i became a dad, the only thing on my mind is my daughter. i think it's normal to focus on your passion. and it's nice to meet you, makayla.

[/div] well yeah okay I guess you're right... but for a teenage guy, thinking about sex all the time is also pretty normal. but yeah, im a dancer; have been ever since I was three. aw, you have a daughter?? how old is she?

exactly. it was normal. but to the guy who's never even watch a dancing movie - ok, maybe one or two - picturing a ballet going on in someone else's head. c'mon, that's definitely strange. she's six, but if you ask me, she's still a baby.

[/div] aww, I want a six year old. I loved that age... and if you ask me, you seem fairly normal compared to most of the people I've run into while I've lived here. miami is definitely stranger than north carolina xD oh, that's where I'm from, by the way. if you didn't catch that... she's six, but to me she's still the newborn baby i was handed at the hospital, but mentally she's probably, at least twelve. she's so much smarter and mature than i was at six. she has william's syndrome, and i guess high IQ's are normal for it, but i swear she'd be smart no matter what. yea, miami's kinda a wild place, but i prefer it to any other place. i've been to north carolina once, but no offense to you, i prefer south carolina o: haha. so what brought you down here?

[/div] she sounds amazing. (: i grew up with a kid next door who had a mild form of william's syndrome, and he turned out to be the coolest guy i ever knew. im kinda sad not havin' him around anymore, actually. anyway, i would love to meet your daughter sometime, if that was okay with you. of course i may also have to beat you up for that last comment xD south carolina is for losers! up north is where the cool people are. but either way... i moved here because my momma got sick and we had to go somewhere warmer than north carolina. and we've been here ever since. i guess it would be up to her, but i have never ever known her to turn down meeting someone new. so i guess i'll run it by her, but i think i should probably meet you first. sorry, sorry, but i've only been to charlotte - which was nice - but then i went to myrtle beach and hilton head island... and sorry, but i loved it there. haha. i'm sorry about your mom, is she doing better? do you guys like miami, at least?

[/div] of course! i completely understand. i mean, i wasn't saying meet her right now, but sometime in the future. after we've actually met in person and you know im not a creeper. i promise i'm not, though. :3 anyway, im from charlotte! that's my home town. (: and i will excuse you for myrtle beach, cause it is a pretty cool place to go, i'll give you that. also, no, she hasn't really gotten better. but we don't really wanna go back to charlotte just yet; we've only been here about three years. well thank you for reassuring me that you aren't a creeper xD well i like your hometown it was actually really nice. if you've been here for three years... well what was she sick with, if you don't mind me asking? and why not just make this a permanent home. three years is a long time for just temporary..
