alright, so, as you can see the play by is jennifer lawrence and her story goes a little something like this: her mother was the runner up for miss kentucky way back in, like '87. the following year she was the victorious one, miss kentucky. and the year after that, she gave up her crown, became a pageant coach, and married the son of the mayor of ashland. they were happily married and an ideal couple, and around '92, they became the ideal parents. that wasn't a cover and it isn't a lie, they raised their daughter right, gave her everything she needed and half of everything she wanted (they had money, but they didn't want to spoil her). as a toddler, she wanted to be just like her mommy, so she was in baby doll pageants.
in kindergarten, she changed her mind, when she met other children (girls, obviously) who treated her like the snob they thought she was. she was exiled by the girls. that's how she became seth's best friend. he didn't care about who she was or where she came from. never did. plus, none of the girls liked him anyway, because he was a big dork. so, they partnered up. they stayed close from then till now. even through puberty, high school, her father becoming the senator of kentucky.. everything.
she's brilliant, very intelligent. she could have gone to any college, but the two made a pact during their freshman year of high school, that they would go to college together. so they applied to all the same ones, and then she tossed out the acceptance letters to the ones he got rejection letters from. and then they picked the one that seemed the most appealing. the university of miami. beach, books, beers, best friends. it was perfect.
alright, so, i'm trying to keep this short, but it's hard. like i said, she's brilliant, knows her shit. and she's always known that she and seth were destined to fall in love, get married, and make babies. seth, has always figured she was joking, and doesn't see things that way. so, this year, when seth gets a legit girlfriend for the first time and things seem serious, jennifer gets jealous and is heartbroken, but she tries to not let that effect their friendship. she begins dating someone too (you can request them, if you'd like)... well, that's when it hits seth. the jealousy, the want to intercede, and take his place. so things get messy and complicated and it will be a struggle, but in the end, she's right. they'll fall in love, get married, and make babies. duh.
